The year of 1993 was a turning point in Tarun Chugh’s work life, when he was chosen as the President Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) for the district of Amritsar. This was the first time he handled the office all by himself.

Tarun Chugh dedicated five years of his life working as District Secretary and State Executive member of ABVP. He recalls the year from 1989 to 1994 as a great learning experience of his political journey.

Tarun Chugh led YUVA CHETNA YATRA with the vision to bring awareness among the youth of India about the work of his party in 1999. This was a first major project undertaken by him that uncovered his calibre of managing live events and creating a wave of knowledge among youth. It covered 2100 km sweeping across all District Head Quarters in Punjab.
