How it Started
On the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday on 17 Sept, 2021 all the members of BJP Yuva Morcha and 11 lakh health volunteers organised Blood Donation Camps ,TB Free India Campaigns and Blood Banks across the country on a massive level. The campaign was widely accepted by people and saw more than 11, 00,000+ people being a part of the mass campaign and doing their bit.
Sewa Hi Sangathan was a gift for India’s honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, presented to him by the BJP President Shri JP Nadda ji, Shri Tarun Chugh Ji, members of BJYM and more than 11 lakh health volunteers of the country.

Sewa hi Sangathan campaign, under the leadership of Shri Tarun Chugh ji bloomed in its outcome on ground. His leadership proved successful in setting up a proper plan of action, implementation and outcome with the members of BJYM, and health workers..

To perform blood banks expansion, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and 11, 00,000+ Health Volunteers of the country organised massive blood camp from Sept 4, 2022 - Sept 16, 2022 under the leadership of Shri Tarun Chugh ji
From Sept 6, 2022 - Sept 12, 2022, about 11 lakh health volunteer of the country were constituted using the link provided at ⦁ sewahisangathan.org through which they had to register themselves as blood donor
From Sept 13, 2022 - Sept 16, 2022. The BJP in coordination and cooperation with all the BJYM members and health departments incorporated as many people as possible as blood donors under the drive
All health workers had to adopt at least one person suffering with tuberculosis and file in all the details at sewahisangathan.org which included the age of the adopter, how they would help the person adopted. Camps were set up in order to register people under this campaign

A special campaign was conducted where in 964 districts 2440 Blood Donation Camps were held and massive number of people became a part as Blood Donors and celebrated the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and marked it as the historical Blood Donation Volunteer Service day
Under Shri Tarun Chugh’s guidance all the 11 lakh health volunteers and BJYM Karyakartas were directed to make sure they filed details of themselves as well as of atleast 5 members amongst them. The details related to blood group were needed to be registered at the health volunteer’s portal so that an advance directory of information can be maintained for the world portal
On 5th and 6th Sept 2022, a meeting was organised under the initiative where State and District level members of BJYM and all health volunteers were a core part of the discussion. The discussion was knit around the ideas of coordination in the process of the initiative, a layout of the complete action plan from establishing contact with all state and district level health volunteers & blood bank, finalisation of location, preparation of donors list and that all potential efforts shall be made by everyone to make this campaign a great success
Various initiatives were undertaken to promote & make people aware of the camps. Initiatives like Face book live, Selfie at Blood Donation Centre, Virtual Sessions, Press Conference, Video content and much more was used to spread awareness among people and encourage them to be a part of the campaign
The tireless efforts of Shri Tarun Chugh ji led to the implementation of the mass movement at the ground level with members of BJYM and 11,00,000+ health volunteers. He laid out a proper plan of action, made sure that the implementation was quick and reaches maximum masses at the ground level covering every state of the nation and deriving the best from each of its districts.
SEWA UNDER SHRI TARUN CHUGH JI
Shri Tarun Chugh ji made sure to implement the campaign in the most resourceful manner with the help of all the BJYM members. The enormous efforts of all under his leadership proved fruitful and gave a massively positive outcome, especially in the states that are majorly under the mentorship of Shri Tarun Chugh Ji

Under the leadership of Shri Tarun Chugh ji, the campaign run solely by BJYM members has shown a great response, with statistics showing a positive figure that included 36 States and Union Territories of the nation, 828 districts were covered, where 2118 blood donation camps were organised by all the BJYM members under Shri Tarun Chugh’s leadership. At these camps that were organised by BJYM under Shri Tarun Chugh’s leadership a giant number of 162332 people registered as blood donors and 143267 blood units were collected
The effective planning shared by Shri Tarun Chugh ji and efforts of all members of BJYM and 11,00,000+ health workers has made an impact globally by creating Sewa hi Sanghathan campaign a one of its kind mass movement. Effective planning under Shri Tarun Chugh’s leadership to make the benefits of the campaign available to all the people at grassroot level contributed immensely in bringing a positive outcome in the states managed under Shri Tarun Chugh’s mentorship. Under the able leadership and supervision of Shri Tarun Chugh ji, Sewa Hi Sangathan initivative made remarkable progress in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Shri Tarun Chugh ji ensured that the initiative that is being organised for the public shall be celebrated by them leading to an encouraged participation. His efforts proved fruitful in making this initiative widely accepted by people
The progress report of the initiative under Shri Tarun Chugh’s leadership has shown progreesive statistics in the state of Jammu and Kashmir with 32 blood donation camps, 1002 blood units collected, 90 free health check-up camps organised, 13,848 people received free health checkups. 144 Vaccination Centres for tuberculosis were set up where sewa activities were organized, Artificial Limbs Distribution for differently abled people where the no. of Differently abled persons was 707, 54 events were held. The districts covered in the state of jammu and Kashmir include Jammu Rural, Akhnoor, Basohli,Doda, Jammu West, Rajouri, Reasi, Kathua, Kishtwar, Bandipora, Udhampur, Budgam, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Shopian, Kashmir, Baramulla, Pulwama, Anantnag, Kulgam and others
Under the leadership of Shri Tarun Chugh ji, Sewa hi Sangathan initiative covered 28 districts in the state of Telangana, with total blood donation camps ranging to 45, total blood units collected were 3440, 62 free health check up camps organised where 14570+ people received free health checkups. Total number of tuberculosis patients that were adopted in Telangana under Shri Tarun Chugh’s leadership ranged up to 25. Total vaccination centres where sewa activities were held were 162. 62 events were conducted for artificial limbs distribution for 25 differently abled people
Shri Tarun Chugh ji with the responsibility of India’s one of the most important state ‘Ladakh’ has yet again proved his mettle in his management and leadership. Under his supervision, 50 blood donation registrations were recorded and 45 units of blood were collected from state of Ladakh. Owing to the harsh conditions and lifestyle of the people his leadership made it possible to derive the best possible outcome of the initiative from the state
In the home state of Shri Tarun Chugh ji, Punjab, the no of Districts that were covered are 34, where 51 blood donation camps were organised and 2432 blood units were collected. The encouraged efforts of all the people, everyone who registered for blood donation made sure to show up and donate blodd thus marking an equivalent number of 2432 people as registered for blood donation
Sewa Hi Sangathan initivative was run in 828 districts of the country and received record breaking response of 6125 approved camps, 305890 registered donors, 176575 blood donors thus making Shri Modi ji’s birthday as a historical blood donation initiative day. Shri J.P Nadda, President of BJP thanked all the organisation officials, BJP Karyakartas, and health volunteers who helped in taking the initiative across places in the entire country and helping the government in covering maximum parts of the nation and providing help and benefits from the campaigns to the public at the ground level in massive numbers
